Best Foot Forward, Sunday 12th February, After Family Service
The Evangelism Ministry have planned another parish prayer walk for Sunday, 12th February, after the family parade service. Everyone who wishes to take part should bring a picnic lunch and gather in the Lindisfarne Room after Tea and Coffee.
Each route should take approximately one hour.
Any queries should be directed to Mr Peter Marett or Ann Thompson.
Our Lady and St Edward's Ladies Group Ecumenical Evening, Thursday 23rd February, 7.45pm.
There will be a short service in the church, starting at 7.45pm, this will then be followed by a short talk in the parish centre. This year it will be given by Rev. Stephen Poxon, who many of you will know and is the chairman of the Lancashire District for the Methodist Church.
The evening will end with light refreshment. This is usually a very pleasant evening and if you would like to attend could you please let me Mary Mercer know by Wednesday 22nd February.
NewWine Lancashire Network Celebration, Saturday 17 March, 7.00pm at St Cuthbert's Church.
All Welcome.
The speaker will be Luke Smith, Church Relations Developer from Fusion UK (www.fusion.uk.com) - a ministry in Universities and Colleges across the UK associated with and supported by New Wine. Luke is based at St Michael-le-Belfry in York. He is well-placed and experienced to speak to us about mission and ministry among students and younger adults. Worship will be lead by gifted worship leaders from St Thomas', Lancaster.
